Greenland evening at the Società Alpinisti Vicentini
A marvelous evening at the new headquarters of the SAV in Vicenza. To a packed house, Cecilia showed her photographs and the film of her expedition across the immense Knud Rasmussen Glacier on the eastern side of Greenland, a veritable icefall measuring hundreds of kilometres, near the Arctic Circle, amid the fjords on the frozen ocean and the icebergs the size of apartment blocks.
To conclude the evening, the President Mario de Tomasi and Gino de Momi presented an award to Cecilia.
